Access Opening Ceremony

Representatives from the U.S. Embassy and More Than Words English Consulting congratulated 60 participants of the English Access Microscholarship Program at an opening ceremony in Jendouba. During the ceremony, the new Access participants and their parents signed commitment letters demonstrating their dedication to English language learning. Access alumni and U.S. Embassy officials discussed the benefits of the program. The English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides scholarships for two-years of English language study to students throughout Tunisia.

Director of MTW Jendouba welcomes the families.

Each student received a Certificate of Acceptance for the program.

We celebrated with snacks and fun afterwards!

From the Students:

On the 21st of June, 2014, we went to the university for the Access opening ceremony.  At first, we entered the room with our parents and waited for the speech of Mr. Hafedh Zmina from the U.S. Embassy.  Then, we took our certificates of acceptance in the English Access Micro-scholarship Program.  We signed our contracts, and then we took some photos together with Ms. Catherine Hall from the U.S. Embassy.  Finally, we left the room and ate some food and drank some soda.
