Mother's Day Card Making

In preparation for Mother's Day, our Access students made cards for their mothers, after discussing how important our mothers are to each of us. Happy Mothers' Day, Access Moms!

Business with Mr. Blumer

Mr. Michael Blumer, part owner of More Than Words, Consulting in English, visited Access on May 15th, and guest taught. Mr. Blumer lectured about business and explained how to find a need in the community to meet, and also how to write a simple business plan. The students worked in groups to write business plans and to make sales pitches, staying on that topic in Miss Kirsten's class for the rest of the month. The students always appreciate guest teachers—thanks, Mr. Blumer for sharing your time and expertise!

Tabarka Trip

We really enjoyed going to Tabarka in March. We took a bus to Mr. Shane's gallery. We met him there, and we did some amazing paintings first. Second, we went to do a tour in the city. We went to the rock formations and took many pictures there. We enjoyed the weather, and we breathed fresh air. It was wonderful. Finally, we returned back home.

Our Trip to Tabarka

In March, we went to Tabarka with Mr. Christopher, Miss Tami, Miss Kirsten, and Miss Abby. We went to different places like the Yellow Lion and the beach. We took many pictures and we played with each other with the water. We also had a painting class with Mr. Shane. We did a different and beautiful picture. Then, we went to eat pizza and drink a soda. Finally, we came back home and we had a lot of fun in the bus; we had music and we danced and clapped. We had a good trip and a beautiful time with our teachers and friends. Thanks!
